Eucalyptus has become really trendy over the last few years—especially as home decor. We’ve made a few different DIY variations before using crepe paper and vellum paper. But today’s project involves making a baby blue eucalyptus out of felt.
Baby blue eucalyptus is a popular filler in bouquets and arrangements, but we also think it looks lovely on its own. We’ll be using this eucalyptus in an upcoming project next week, so make sure to keep an eye out for that!
Enchanting Eucalyptus
If you love the look of eucalyptus, but get bummed out when you have toss it out, try making this felt version! This DIY project is also perfect for pet owners since fresh eucalyptus is toxic to cats and dogs.
Cutting all these small leaves makes this a perfect project for the Cricut Maker. If you don’t have one, you can cut all these leaves by hand. It’s just a lot easier with a cutting machine! You’ll find both the SVG file and printable PDF below—along with printable instructions.
Have you made any DIY botanicals this summer? We’d love to see them! Make sure to share your creations with us on Instagram using the hashtag #MadeWithLia.

I can’t seem to find the number of each to cut out?
Hi Cathy! The template is laid out to show you how many to cut per stem (11 total).
How do you manage to not end up with strands of hot glue?
Oh I do! I just clear them often so I’m not left with a bunch at the end.
