Become a MemberThe sun is starting to shine and I am in the mood for a celebration! We have had some absolutely gorgeous weather in Portland recently (although it’s been raining today…) and I am so excited for the summer season. Cinco de Mayo is on May 5th of course, and it is a great opportunity to host a party welcoming the nicer weather. We were originally inspired to create these fiesta invitations for Cinco de Mayo parties. Because the invitations do not specify the date, they could be used for any party event!
There are two options of fiesta invitations included in the download below. The first has a burnt orange background, and the second has a crisp white background. Both feature the word “fiesta” in a whimsical script font as a header. My favorite part is the adorably colorful geometric border around the invitations with cute cactus graphics at the bottom. Love! To edit these fiesta invitations with your event details, begin by installing the free font Bellotta Bold. Every piece of the text is editable except for the word “fiesta” at the top. Once you have edited your invitations, print them onto 8.5 x 11 white card stock. When trimmed, these invitations fit an A7 sized envelope. We have two different printable envelope liners included in the downloads that match our fiesta invitations. These liners have the same geometric pattern that makes up the border of the invitations, plus the cute cactus accent! Choose your envelope liner, print it onto regular printer paper, trim to size, and glue it inside of your envelope. These fiesta invitations are ready for the mail!
If you are looking for some party decor inspiration, be sure to check out our papel picado banners with matching mini flags to put in your yummy margaritas. Our paper flower pinata would be a hit at any summer fiesta, and stay tuned for our adorable paper cactus garland coming soon! Enjoy ~ Lia

Love these! We are getting married in July and honeymooning in Mexico – I’d love to make some of the cactus bunting to go up someone where in around the gift table as we are asking for contributions to the honeymoon – would be perfect! Are they available as a SVG file?
Thanks!
Congrats on your upcoming wedding! The cactus SVG cut files were posted this morning 🙂 https://liagriffith.com/paper-cactus-garland/
Came looking for those adorable cacti decorations and noticed sentence about coming soon. Will just have to wait. They will be so cute to put up anywhere, let alone as garland for Cinco de Mayo.
This time of year is when I really miss San Diego, talk about Cinco de Mayo fun. I was 50 before I realized I love to party, think it’s hiding right now. Will get to let it out when we go for sons’ wedding in June. EEehaw.
