Plum perfection
This plum crepe paper of ours is the perfect color for winter, plus we made them look even darker with some black PanPastel. If you have not colored your paper petals before, we will show you how to do this during our live workshop. This is a crafting technique we use regularly to give our crepe paper flowers more detail and make them look more realistic.

I want to do a hot pink calla lily to match what was in my bouquet. Would you still recommend the black pan pastel?
No, I would use a darker pink instead. 🙂
Ok, I guess it is what it is
Hi Lia, just wondering if 12 x 12″ sheets of crepe would be possible? I think it would be much more user friendly rather than the 9.8 and 19.6 sheets. Much more compatible for Cricut My Space.
Hi Nancy! We try to share this tid bit as often as possible. . . The size of the parent sheet of crepe paper that they make in Germany is 19.6 inches which is approximately 50cm. This is the size that these vintage machines make the paper and it is pretty much set in stone. Originally we sold it in the long lengths, but the shipping became an issue and product was getting damaged. If we were to cut the paper in a 12 inch strip, there would be 8 inches left that would be waste. And, the cost of the crepe would double because we would have to account for the waste. If we sold it in 12 inch strips rather than rolls, that would also add to the cost. Our goal is to get you this super high quality crepe for the best price possible. I have found that working with the Cricut these last 5 years, having it fit 9.8 inches rather than 12 is not a real issue for me. I will often give you the templates pre-set for this size to make it easier. Does that all make sense?
Oh one more thing. . . the double-sided crepe only comes in this size from the factory. It is because of the gluing process that they need to make it the half size.
Hi If you are thinking of shipping to the UK bear in mind that you may have to pay duty as well as shipping
We are using USPS Priority International, as we understand that this gives a fast service and also removes any duties and taxes that you may otherwise be charged.
There were coupons mentioned. There is nothing in my dashboard. Can you elaborate on where to find them. Thanks!
Hi! To get your bonus shop coupon ($20 off your purchase of $100 or more), make sure you have linked your membership account to our online shop (or you can link an existing account). You can do that in My Craft Room in the Rewards tab here: https://liagriffith.com/craft-room/rewards/. Once you have linked your account, your coupon should appear in your Felt Paper Scissors shop account under the “Coupons” tab. As you add items to your cart, your $20 coupon will appear on the checkout page for easy access once you have reached the $100 or more value. If you have any issues with this, please email hello@liagriffith.com!

New member and excited to do this project with you. I have all of my supplies purchased but was wondering if we are supposed to cut our petals, leaves, etc before the class or are we supposed to work along with you?
Welcome! We’re so glad to have you. For the monthly Member Make, you should have everything cut out and ready to go if you’d like to make along with us.
Is the greenery with the calla lilies faux or real?
The evergreen sprigs are real 🙂
Thanks Lia I just put in the order.
Great! Thank you!
