It can be so easy to take something simple and basic and turn it into something uniquely beautiful. Iron-on can be a great material for accomplishing this! You can use iron-on to add a personal spin to any canvas tote, apron or t-shirt. Today we are sharing this funky iron-on design to create a DIY boho pouch for your pens and pencils, makeup or any other little things you want to throw into your purse. We used our Cricut machine to cut the design onto iron-on vinyl – download the SVG version of the file below to use with your own cutting machine. We chose a black and pink color scheme with silver glitter accents, but feel free to choose your own palette for this.
If you are cutting our DIY boho pouch design by hand, download the PDF version of the file. You can print directly onto iron-on transfer paper, and then follow the instructions on the packaging to apply it to your zipper bag. Find links for all the materials in the Shop this Project section. If you want to make another DIY boho pouch to complement this design, you can find our cute feather design here. You can even craft up your own pouch with your favorite fabrics following our zipper bag sewing tutorial. We would love to see the DIY boho pouch you come up with, so please share your photos with us on Instagram using #DIYDreamingWithLia! I love these great DIY ideas that I know I will enjoy doing together with my Jr. High and High School students. Many thanks Lia for taking the time to invest in such great ideas.
Thanks for your sweet note, Lucy!
