I see that the option for the heavy paper covered wire that’s linked here is out of stock on amazon — is this really 18 gauge that is used? the pictures look like a heavier gauge. Thanks!
Hi Janice,
The wire linked is 18 gauge, to make it thicker it is wrapped with paper! Here is an etsy link with the same wire that is currently in stock https://www.etsy.com/listing/240041836/50-stems-large-gauge18-length-12-x-3-mm?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=paper+covered+wire&ref=sr_gallery-1-12&cns=1
I just noticed Mod Podge in the materials list. I don’t remember it being used in the live tutorial.
Hi Maggie,
We always like to recommend that you cover your stems with mod podge if you have wrapped them with strips of crepe. This will help them last much longer! 🙂
Hi Lia. I watched the member make a few minutes after it started on Friday because I also could not fine the link. Then somehow figured it out. I was so excited to watch!!! Thanks so much. Still finishing the Easter Lilly, now doing the parrot tulip. 😊

Loved watching the new look tutorial . It was great but not able to comment at the time . Hope you do more of the same
Hi Sue,
Glad to hear you liked this new format, we will be working out some kinks in the next few months to fix the commenting issue. 🙂
Hi L ia When the svg file on design space is bigger than the sheet size how do you reduce it to fit .
Hi Lesley,
You must ungroup the file before cutting. Check out our video on how to best use our SVG files with the cricut. https://liagriffith.com/how-to-use-svg-files-for-cricut/
Thanks for the above information. Got up at 4AM Aussie time this morning to watch the live Members Make so I was one trying to find the live stream. Eventually found it and loved the tulips. Lia just love what you do and really appreciate your talents.About 3 years ago I was in USA for about 6 weeks {doing the tourist thing} and managed to get a day class on paper flowers at Castle in the Air in San Fran, so you can see I am a bit obsessed with this craft. Unfortunately the cost of craft and anything coming from the States is very expensive, but I am thankful to have found your group to keep me busy.
Hi Lesley,
We are so happy that you have joined us! We also have a member facebook page where members can chat and share their projects with us. 🙂
This sounds like a really fun one Lia!!!
I’m guessing you mean April 17th? 🙂
Yes! 🙂
I wasn’t able to watch on March 17th, is there a way I could get printed instructions?
Thank you
Hi Barbara,
I’m sorry but we do not offer printed instructions for the Member Make projects as we have the video tutorial. The Member Make videos are always available to watch in the post even after the air date.
Hi, my daughter has our Silloute machine at her house 20 miles away. Is there away I can send her the files so she can do the cuts and mail back to me? Please keep in mind I’m somewhat technology handicapped. Thank you looking forward to doing some of the projects now that my husband and I are homebound.
Richelle Alexander
Hi Richelle,
You can email her the Cut File after you download it to your computer, then she can do the cutting for you 🙂
If we do not have Blick Studio Brush Markers can we use copic markers?
Do you know if color numbers for copic markers/
Thanks, Shirley Anglin
Hi Shirley,
Yes! You can use Copic markers we would recommend Red Violet, Peach, Tender Pink, and Rose Quarts. These are just recommendations and we cannot guarantee they are exactly the same. We would suggest trying the colors you have on the crepe we will be using as these tulips come in a variety of colors! 🙂
