This Felt Baby Chick with Eggs is a great project for beginner to intermediate crafters interested in leveling-up their stuffie construction know-how. Overall, this project offers an easy approach to creating 3-D stuffed animals with felt. Due to the small size of the project, we highly recommend using smaller stitches. This project is also an easy way to gain some practical experience with different stitches with a super cute payoff. And yes, practice does make perfect, but there’s nothing wrong with a little extra help. With that in mind, feel free to check out our Embroidery 101 course for a refresher before you begin.
I’ve always been enchanted by the magic of springtime. Flowers bloom, birds return, and life begins anew. As part of our renewal-themed collection this month, these Felt Baby Chicks are an apt symbol for the excitement of fresh, new beginnings. Spring is a time for getting back to what energizes us and embracing new adventures — not unlike these sweet chicks hatching courageously into a world of the unknown.
Once complete, these Felt Baby Chicks with Eggs will make a wonderful addition to your growing felt farm animal collection. Pair them with our Felt Sheep and Felt Cow for an operation even Old McDonald would envy! We think they’d also make an adorable addition to your kiddos’ Easter baskets as well.
However you choose to use them or gift them, we’d love to see how your Felt Baby Chicks turn out, so remember to share them with us! Upload pictures to our crafters’ community or on Instagram using #MadeWithLia to connect with others. Happy Crafting!

I downloaded the chick project but do not see the SVG (cut file)
I just rechecked the file to make sure everything is there. Double-click to open the zipped folder and find three files inside. A PDF template, a PDF tutorial, and an SVG file.
