To make your own felt bow bookmarks, all you will need is some nice quality felt and elastic, which you can find at any local craft or fabric store. Choose your favorite colors to personalize your project. Download our PDF template below, trim the pieces, and then use these pieces as a guide for cutting your felt. There will be three pieces to make the bow. Using the same technique as our signature paper bows, fold the ends of the bow inward and hot glue to the center to create your loops. Next, glue the bottom piece to the back side of the center of the bow, in the same spot that you glued your folds to create the loops. Lastly, wrap the small rectangular piece around the center of the bow. Before gluing this piece to secure, glue your piece of elastic to the back of the bow. Then, cover your elastic with the rectangular piece and glue in place. Use our step-by-step photo tutorial below as a visual guide through this process.
