Hi Lia!
I have a hack for pressing a crease in this flower petal. I’m also a needlepointer and use The Thread Gatherer or Gloriana silk ribbons to create flowers on my needlepoint canvases. To straighten my ribbon I use a curling iron. I keep a curling iron in my craft room and use it only on my crafting.
I love everything you do! You are so talented!
I need to correct my post. NOT a curling iron. I use a FLAT STYLE IRON (the kind ladies use to iron their hair flat). I’m not sure where my head was.
That’s a great tip!!
Any tips on the ironing , such as steam vs no steam , heat setting ? Just melted a legal to my iron .
Oh no! Steam isn’t needed. I would suggest high heat for shorter periods of time. If your felt isn’t full wool felt it is more likely to burn, so in that case it would be best to go on a lower heat setting.
