Native to Sicily and Southern Italy, the sweet pea represents a vast array of values and symbolisms depending on color. A sturdy climbing plant, the sweet pea blooms in white, pink, purple, and blue shades. The Felt Sweet Pea in this month’s collection is based on the pink version — a symbol of beauty and joy. And who couldn't use a bit more of both?
While we chose a soft pink for our Felt Sweet Pea, as mentioned, there are many more colors to choose! As always, we encourage you to shake things up and boldly forge your own creative path. Create a bouquet of stunning blue sweet peas, or if you’re feeling especially wild, create a spring showstopper of every lush sweet pea color!
Once you’re finshed with your Felt Sweet Peas, arrange them in a vase for a lovely spring display that will stay fresh and beautiful for long after the season ends. To extend their shelf life, we suggest spritzing them with a bit of stiffening spray to help keep their delicate shape.
