Picture Perfect Paradise

All of this Portland snow has us dreaming of warmer climates. Take a trip to the tropics with us as we craft these super simple framed papercut tropical leaves. This project is the perfect follow-up to our insanely popular papercut botanical poster. Just gather the tools and materials listed below and join us as we craft our winter blues away.

Tools

• Scissors or Cutting Machine
• Glue Dot Roller

 Materials

• Background – Canford Paper in Forest
• Leaves – Fabriano Tiziano in Sage #13
• 9×9 Frame

Instructions

1. Gather the tools and materials.
2. Cut out the leaves using scissors or a cutting machine.
3. Cut out the background paper to fit your frame of choice.
4. Apply the glue dots only to the center spine area of the leaves and glue them to your background paper, allow the edge of the leaves to come away from the paper to create a shadow.
