Due to more coloring and shaping than some of our other paper flowers, this frosted paper dendrobium orchid is considered an intermediate craft. This project begins with our citrus and conifer packs of frosted craft paper with subtleties of color achieved by applying PanPastel. The overall effect is breathtaking as delicate petals give way to a rich magenta at the tips, accented with deep green leaves and yellow-green buds tinged with pink at the top.
Ready to craft these gorgeous paper orchids for your home? Our tutorial will show you step by step how to color and assemble the blooms as well as the buds, then attach them to a wire stem. When you’re done with your flowers, don’t forget to share them with us by using #MadeWithLia on Instagram and Facebook — or posting a photo on our crafter’s community page.

Can this flower be made with double sided or extra fine crepe paper?
I would not use the template for crepe paper because it would cross the grain in the wrong direction. But here are some crepe paper orchid versions. https://liagriffith.com/crepe-paper-mokara-orchid/
