Leave a CommentIf you want to make the flowers smaller how do you get the right proportions?
Thank you.
You can group all of the pieces and size them down together.
Lia I was so impressed with your tutorial that I was able to watch the whole thing. π I can’t usually watch a long one but you kept my interest & the flowers turned out just gorgeous. Thank you for doing such a good job.
Thanks, Lorraine! That means a lot since I also have a very short attention span and click out of longer tutorials. lol. π
Hi, I purchased the Fiskars – Lia Griffith Peony templates – I reviewed the instructions and I am not sure where in the instructions it explains how many petals I need to cut out in order to make the flower. How many petals do I need to cut using each template? Also in step three of the instructions, it pictures a few other templates that were not included with the package. Where can I find these templates? Thank you!
Hi Dori! Fiskars has a very helpful step-by-step tutorial and detailed information for the peony templates: https://www.fiskars.com/en-us/crafting-and-sewing/ideas-and-how-tos/home-decorating/paper-peony.
How many of each petal do I need for this project?
Hi! The petal counts are included in the PDF template.
What is the easiest cutting machine for a beginner to use with your flower SVG files? Thank you for any advice on this.
Hi Jeanne! Well our longest experience has been with the Cricut. The Maker is the only machine that will cut crepe paper, but honestly we still cut a lot of our flowers by hand. The Explore Air works great for frosted flowers and other SVGs.
For some reason I am unable to locate the SVG file for this flower. How may I access it. Thank you.
Hi Ellen, there’s a link in the post directing you to the SVG file: https://www.paperpapers.com/news/metallic-peony-video/
THANK YOU.
beautiful bouquet and an excellent video. thank you for sharing your techniques!
So happy to share π
