Become a MemberWe’re all about the ginkgo leaf this fall! Designed by Emily, our ginkgo leaf embroidered tote features a cute repeating pattern that’s great for beginners. And you can mix up the colors however you like!
All you need to get started are a few simple tools and materials. Just scroll down for the links to the supplies we used and find our pattern and tutorial at the end of the post.
Falling in love with embroidery
We chose to make our ginkgo leaf embroidered tote using three different fall-like colors. You can use the same colors we did or try different shades of yellow, brown, and red, or even green. Once you have your supplies ready, you’ll see how easy it is to print our leaf design onto the stick ‘n stitch and follow along with our stitch guide below in the instructions PDF.
Because this is such a simple DIY project, you can easily craft this ginkgo leaf embroidered tote for yourself and also make one as a gift for a friend or family member. If you have a kid heading off to college this fall, it would also make a cute accessory for them to carry their books or personal items in. Of course you can always stitch this pattern onto something else entirely if you want to personalize something other than a tote!
