I am so excited to finally welcome spring. And to help you properly welcome spring into your home, you can make this beautiful Hello Spring tray for your home decor! As much as I love winter hues like plum, slate, and navy, I am thrilled to start incorporating pastel colors into my home again. Our designer and illustrator Krista must be just as excited because she created this gorgeous tray with a beautiful spring color scheme!

Hello Spring

Hello Spring!

To make this project we started by picking out our tray. We chose a basic wood tray with a lacquered finish in a crisp white color from West Elm. And it’s on sale right now!

Next, you’ll want to choose your colors of vinyl. We used Cricut’s vinyl in Stainless GoldBlush, and Caribbean for this cute color scheme. They have a ton of colors to choose from, though, so you can always pick something different. You should also be able to find vinyl at your local craft store.

Our Hello Spring floral design draws inspiration from the pattern of our spring gift wrap and floral birthday card. And it would be perfect to incorporate into your Easter decor. Because Easter falls only one week after the beginning of spring this year, it really is a Hello Spring holiday!

Once you have your materials ready to go for this Hello Spring tray, download the SVG file below. If you do not have a cutting machine, print our PDF version. Cutting these designs out by hand would be a very intricate process, so I would recommend using the PDF to create a pretty iron-on or DIY art print! How cute would it be to have your own Hello Spring apron for your kitchen? To turn this design into an iron-on, you will need to mirror the image (you can do this in your printer settings) and print with an inkjet printer onto iron-on transfer paper. Or, print the design onto white card stock and frame it for a cute seasonal piece of art. You can then place it on your mantel and style it with some candles like we have done with our tray!
