Become a MemberI don’t mention enough how lucky we are to have Lindsay, our expert wedding designer, on our team. She can create the most stunning paper goods! I am so excited to share her latest creation, these gorgeous honey bee wedding invitations. I love this suite! It is elegant but playful, delicate and sweet. The color scheme is soft and pretty and it is lovely for a wedding at any time of year.
The honey bee wedding invitations set comes with a choice between two color schemes: the simple white and yellow invitations or the creamy invitations with subtle watercoloring. Both invitation suites include the invitation, RSVP cards, and details enclosure cards. To edit these invitations, begin by downloading the free fonts Paduka Script, Arcon, and Chapaza Regular. Use Paduka Script to customize the names on the invitation. Next, edit the information on the RSVP and details cards with the font Arcon. Then add in the wedding venue and wedding date using Chapaza Regular. Once you finish editing these honey bee wedding invitations, print them onto white or cream colored card stock.
When trimmed, the invitations are A7 size while the enclosure cards are A2 size. Both color schemes for this invitation suite also come with corresponding envelope liners that you can print onto regular copy paper and glue to the inside of your envelopes. Don’t forget to include an A2 size envelope in your suites so that your guests can send back their RSVP cards! When you have all the pieces of your invitation suite ready, you can secure them together with our super cute honeycomb belly band. Choose the SVG version of the belly band if you have a cutting machine to create the gorgeous papercut effect, or use the PDF printable design if you are cutting by hand. Once it is trimmed, adhere the ends of the belly bands together with glue. Find the link for the gold paper that we used in the Shop this Project section!
If you want add an extra element of magic to your invitation suite, you can add in our little honey bee cut outs as confetti to your envelopes! Find the SVG file for the bees in this post. To continue the honey bee theme in your wedding, our honey bee wedding favor boxes are the perfect pairing with these honey bee wedding invitations. Both the bee cut outs and the favor boxes use the same metallic paper as linked in Shop this Project. You can even make our honey bee tote bags as gifts for your bridal party! Hi Lia,
I love this suite, I’m wondering what you would suggest for Save the Dates?
I just got a Cricut machine, and I’m totally looking forward to doing some projects!
Hi Emily! We don’t have a matching Save the Date (yet!) but maybe this could work? https://liagriffith.com/save-the-date-magnets/
OMG, thank you so much for these! I was going crazy looking for something like this. These are amazing! Now I’m confused which one is cuter! Love them!
I’m so happy to hear this! So glad you love them 🙂
Thank you very much for sharing this lovely design honeycomb honey.
It really is exquisite, I have seen several in this last season, but this is especially nice for its three-dimensional effect.
Look what side you look at it, it is cube-shaped, as if really the bee fit in it.
Congratulations to the team and especially designer.
It just does not have the ease of getting foil that you use, but the day I do, I will search them where necessary.
Have a happy day!!!
