Planning a DIY wedding can be a ton of work, so we want to make sure that our readers can have a reliable and cohesive theme for their big day! Our newest wedding theme is the playfully sweet honey bee theme. It is perfect for adding a delicate rustic touch to your wedding. We recently shared our honey bee invitation suite, and now we are following up with these cute wedding tags featuring the same bee hive graphic.
There are two varieties of the honey bee wedding tags to match the invitations. Choose between the creamy watercolor tag or the classic white tag below. You can also use a mix of both for variety! To edit the tags, you will need to download and install the free fonts Paduka Script and Chapaza Regular. Use Paduka Script to edit the newlyweds’ names, and then add the wedding date with Chapaza Regular. Each of the wedding tag sets includes tags that say Love is Sweet and some that say Meant to Bee. After you customize your wedding tags, print them onto 8.5 x 11 white card stock.
Once your tags are printed you can trim them into their pentagonal shape. We used a paper cutter to be more precise with our cutting! Next, use a small circle punch to create holes at the top of each tag. You can punch the hole anywhere you like, but we punched ours right at the top of the bee hive. You can then use ribbon or yellow baker’s twine to attach these tags to your gifts. The last part of the download below is the SVG file for the papercut belly band that you can also use to dress up your gifts. If you are cutting by hand, you can find the PDF version of the belly band in the honey bee invitation suite.
And there you have it! There are so many ways that you can incorporate these wedding tags into your special event. Add them to the place cards on your guest tables, attach them to wedding favors, or use them as gift tags for your bridal party gifts. Take a look at our honey bee favor boxes for the ultimate wedding favors for your guests. I love this! I am doing a “mommy to bee” shower – where did you get the darling honey lollipops? What a great favor.
They really are adorable, no wonder I have had so many questions about them! Those honey lollipops were actually a gift so unfortunately I do know where they are from 🙁 Best of luck with your shower!
the tags are nice as gift tags on any honey product like (home made) skin care or lip balm. Or pecan nuts in honey, quinces in honey. Or honey soap or bee wax candles etc. etc.
Thank you for the editable tags.
P.S. have you ever tried home made chocolate sauce with orange peel and honey? Added to Vanillia ice cream or Vanillia Mousse.
Or Orange Sauce with a spoonful honey to Cinnamon Mousse? Delicious :-).
You’re so welcome, I’m happy you like them AND can think of several uses 🙂 I haven’t made chocolate sauce with orange and honey, but that sure sounds divine!
