Become a MemberIn our last collaboration with our friends at Darling Magazine, we created some fabulous desk decor that will last all year round without any maintenance. Now that we are moving into winter, we’re redirecting our focus to something that is near and dear to all of us – our skin! If you do not have problems with dry skin in the winter, consider yourself one of the lucky ones. We came up with this all-natural facial toner recipe that is hydrating and healing. This mixture combines the simplest skin care ingredients for a no-fuss, refreshing spray that you can use every day. Usually toner is meant to hydrate right after washing your face, but you can use it at any time you need a little pick-me-up throughout the day. Be careful if you have any known skin sensitivities to these ingredients! If you have any concerns about this facial toner recipe, there’s no harm in asking a dermatologist that you trust if this would be best for your specific skin.
Find the full facial toner recipe in our printable recipe template below. The recipe uses aloe and vitamin E to hydrate, and then combines vitamin B5 and C to help heal and regenerate new skin for a little anti-aging quality. You also have the option of adding a bit of witch hazel for blemish or acne control. Dilute the mixture with water, add a couple of your favorite essential oils and you are ready to take on the outdoor elements. Make sure that you are using filtered water for your toner – you want the ingredients to be as gentle on your skin as possible! For best results, keep this in the refrigerator for 4-6 weeks.

We also designed a set of labels that you can pair with your toner once you are done. To edit the “lavender scented” line of text, download and install the free font Aleo Bold Italic. After you customize the labels, print onto full sheet label paper, or create gift tags using cardstock. If you are looking for more hydrating solutions this winter, be sure to check out our homemade lotion recipe. We’d love to hear how this toner works out for you, so feel free to give us your feedback. Enjoy! ~ Lia & team
