Become a MemberSometimes, you can’t always find the pillow you want. A few years ago, I bought a pillow from West Elm that had an embroidered wild cat on it in an art deco style. When I went back to buy a second pillow, they were no longer available. So I decided to make my own art deco wild cat pillows and share the design with you! DIY pillows are such a simple project—and you save money by making them yourself, too.
Go Wild!
These pillows are custom sized and are made from a washed blue linen. I just crafted some pink pillows for my living room, so these art deco wild cat pillows will be going into my dining room. Switching out your pillows is one of the simplest ways to change the look of a room! You can read more about this in my post on top home décor tips.
To use this iron-on design for your own DIY pillows, just download the SVG cut file or PDF template below. I used Cricut’s Everyday Iron-On in gold for my art deco wild cat pillows, but you can use whatever color you prefer. I’d love to see your color combos, so make sure to share them on Instagram or Facebook and include the hashtag #MadeWithLia.
If you’re interested in learning more about making your own pillows, I’ll be sharing how to make an easy pillow fill from polyfil and cotton cloth this weekend. So stay tuned for more pillow talk!

The cats motif will also be great as applique.

(actually canning quince: jam, jelly, compotte, chutney, fruity mustard etc. Quince solo, with apples, pears, fresh orange Juice. Sweet and spicy. Spicy quince mousse with smoked salmon – delicious)
What a great idea Kerstin! We can’t wait to see what you do with these Wild Cats!
