Become a MemberOne of my creative inspirations is simply living here in the Pacific Northwest. With the beautiful, lush green surroundings and a rich natural heritage I was inspired to notice my own Scandinavian roots and design taste closely resemble a Pacific Northwest native style artwork. You might recognize the stylized owl, fox and bear design from my kitchen restyle. I loved this theme so, that they are now designed into these stylized note card.
There is nothing more lovely than receiving a handwritten note in the post. Believe me, I’m a huge fan of my computer and the convenience of emails, but all the tech we use in daily life makes a handwritten letter all the more special. A handwritten note takes time, effort and thought – words we don’t often associate with typing the endless emails we must send everyday! I have always handwritten my thank you notes but I’m making a concerted effort this year to just drop a friend a note by post every now and then. Who doesn’t like happy post in their mailbox?
The Cricut Explore is perfect for simple, but detailed projects like this. I was able to design, print and cut all my note cards in an afternoon! And now I have a set of individual note cards that I have made myself – use this SVG cut file from Cricut Design Space and you can be writing to friends and family on your own gorgeous note cards by the end of the day. Enjoy! ~ Lia

Design Space is telling me that the project is no longer available. Is it possible to have the SVG added to this page instead, please?
We just updated the link in the post!
Hi
These cards are very beautiful, but as I do not, nor will ever likely, own a Cricut, is it possible to download a PDF file of the template that would be able to print, cut and assemble myself manually? I understand this is unlikely, but thought I would ask, as you never know. 🙂
I’m sorry Margaret, I don’t have them available as a PDF!
Where does one find the fun envelopes shown in the pictures? Are they a cricut file?
Thanks! Love these. So excited to do my FIRST print then cut. They will be a gift for a friend’s birthday – her family heritage is Swedish. She’s gonna love them!
I purchased my envelopes at Paper Source (one of my favorite stores)
Hand-written notes and letters is an art that is being lost to computer e-mails. There is nothing better than receiving a pretty card and personal note hand-written in the mail to lift your spirits! Love all your designs, Thanks for Sharing.
Couldn’t have said it better yself!
Would love to give this a try. Getting more active with church youth groups, and veterans also.
Wonderful to hear!
These are so stinking cute! So you just use white card stock and it prints it out with the brown and black color on it?
Yes, just the white card stock. The design will print and the Cricut will trim. Easy as that.
I love to write letters but I love more to get them. Thank you for the opportunity to send unique letters.
I know, me too!!
Love these wee guys so much, great design Lia and congratulations on your design collaboration with Cricut! I’m not on Facebook or I’d be entering to win one of your beautiful Teal Cricuts for sure :O)
There are chances on Instagram too;-)
Hi Lia,
Talking about paper and inspiration I want to suggest to you if you have a chance to check http://www.joanson.com She is an artist that works with paper too and made paper dolls and clothes and real size paper dresses and a lot of origami things. I don’t know if it’s right or wrong to suggest a website. I hope it’s ok.
That link isn’t working. Is her name Joan Son?
I love these and especially the matching mugs, but I can´t download the files. I have followed the links and have even downloaded the Cricut Design space plugin, but I do not have a cricut. I use a Silhouette Cameo, and I thought I was going to be able to download svg files to use on that. Everytime I click on the ´make now´button I go back to the download the plugin page. If I go into the design plugin and click on the mug photo I get back to the original page with tiny thumbnails on. What am I doing wrong please?
These designs are hosted on Cricut’s Design Space so for these you would actually need a Cricut.
I loved these designs when I first saw them in your kitchen redo. We have a strong Scandinavian influence here in Minnesota so your images are close to my heart.
Thank you so much. I have been really influenced by the Scandinavian design, especially lately.
I love the Scandinavian look, love the clean, modern look. Thank you for sharing and thank you for offering this great give-a-way!
You can probably tell that I am really influenced by the clean Scandinavian look;-)
I love your scandinavian style new designs!! I also agree with receiving a handwritten note. My little girl loves to make cards for anybody and we go put them in our neighbors mailboxes and I later texted them to let them know what she wrote or draw for them in case they don’t understand toddler drawings hehe.
That is so sweet!!!
How cool are those and so creative too.I bet you can make quite a few inspirational projects with Cricut Explore Air and mini iPad has probably some ideas too.thanks for an opportunity to enter your contest.Enjoy your day!!!Alina from Michigan where we finally are getting SUNSHINE lol

Or enter to win this week;-)
Lia, these are absolutely beautiful! I adore sending notes in the mail and receiving them is so wonderful and heartwarming.:)
I asked for a Cricut Explore for Christmas but Santa didn’t bring one.:( HOWEVER, I’m actually happy about that since yours has been released! I intend on saving for one as a gift to myself. 😉 Being disabled doesn’t allow for many luxuries but this is one that I’ve dreamed of since I first heard of Cricut, and one I intend to make good on! 🙂 I also intend to enter the contest!
I’m crossing my fingers that you may make something similar someday for those of us who do not have a Cricut, but will save the file regardless for the future! 🙂
Thanks so much for sharing your amazing talents with us! You are so generous and inspiring! I absolutely love seeing an email from you in my inbox! And last but not least, congratulations on your own beautiful Cricut!
I am happy to that you waited, yes definitively enter this week for a chance to win one.

🙂
Now that’s different, and I like different.
Me too:-)
You are so generous with all your tutorials and files and now …a giveaway!
Thanks for all you do for your fans
Thank you, that is so sweet of you to say. I love my readers and so appreciative of all your support!
These are so cute. When I click on the SVG file – it takes me to Design Space but I don’t see where I can find the file to cut these adorable note cards out. I know I’m not very technical but I usually save the cut and then go to Design Space and upload. What do I do here? Thanks for all of your tutorials and creativity.
