First, gather all your tools and materials (listed below). We used an assortment of our favorite text weight metallic papers to make this paper poinsettia set. To add some extra flair to the flowers, we also used a bit of gold glitter and art markers. You can find these two materials at your local craft store – we specifically used Tombow markers and Martha Stewart’s glitter in Smoky Quartz. Once you have your materials you can start cutting the petals. If you are using the PDF file, you can print the template directly onto the metallic paper to make it easier. Just note that the small black score lines will be slightly visible if you do this. Otherwise, you can use trace the paper poinsettia templates onto your paper.

When you have your pieces trimmed, you can use your art marker to create the extra vein details. This is totally optional though! Next, start assembling with your hot glue gun. Follow the photo tutorial below as a visual guide. After gluing the petals together, you can add your glitter. Just add a bit of extra hot glue to the centers and sprinkle the glitter on top. We recommend doing this over a piece of newspaper or magazine for easy clean-up.
