VIDEO: Dusty Miller & Mini Mum Wreath for Fall
Turn a New Wreath
We are all about wreaths this autumn season! Introducing yet another gorgeous wreath option to spice up your home… our mini mum wreath for fall! This gorgeous project features an assortment of mums and dusty millers. We’ve created a helpful video tutorial for how to make these mini mums to make your crafting just that much simpler. You might be surprised by the color palette we chose to work with — pastel blues and greens and metallics… but playing around with color is huge this season. Why stick to the same old oranges and browns? Make a statement with alternative colors! You’ll be the trendiest crafter around!

- Gather the tools and materials listed above and cut according to the pattern. For the 10” wreath, cut eight sets of mini mums and eight of each leaf & dusty miller.
- Use the edge of a scissors to curl the petals inward. Stack and glue the petals biggest to smallest, bottom to top.
- Fold leaves along the score lines and curl the edges as shown.
- Arrange and glue your mums and leaves on a wreath form.

So confused! The SVG cut file came with extra (what looks like) extra flower pedals (they have only 3 pedals per cut out) and round pieces. They are not shown in the above pictures nor in the video. At the end of the video it mentions more videos to watch that are associated with this one, but I can’t figure out the other ones to watch.
The extra piece was added in the template so it would fill out the flower nicer. You can use it or not. Your choice. We have a full video library here. I am working on updating the playlists and will have one for frosted paper flowers very soon. https://liagriffith.com/videos/
This is gorgeous. Just one question…What is Text Weight Paper? The link given no longer works, and I tried looking for this on Amazon (UK) and couldn’t find it. Many thanks.
Thanks for letting us know about the link is broken! Text weight is light, similar to regular writing paper (not cardstock).
You never cease to amaze me. I love wreaths, and the colors in this one are exceptionally beautiful for Fall.
Thank you Linda, that means a lot to me! We love wreaths here, too– obviously 🙂
