Yesterday I shared our most delicious gluten-free pineapple upside-down cake that we made into minis. We love to dress little cakes up, and the thought of turning pineapple cupcakes into little pineapples was just too fun to ignore! I first show you how to turn your mini cakes upside down by using brown baking papers and mini treat cups. This preps the cupcakes for the wrappers and is a perfect way to serve as finger food at your tropical party.
Pineapple Party Decorations
Below you will find the SVG file for these pineapple cupcake decorations if you will be using a cutting machine. We are also sharing a PDF of the templates should you wish to cut them by hand.
We used a metallic golden yellow paper for the cupcake wrapper and a yummy metallic green for the tops. Simply cut onto text weight or card stock paper. Then wrap your cupcakes and secure at the back with a little tape or glue. You can attach the green tops to a toothpick with tape or glue and pop them into the top of your cake to finish it off — so cute!
If you are planning to host your own Luau, you will find our printable party invitations, mini pineapple party decorations, and this yummy summer cocktail recipe. We also have tutorials and patterns for pretty leis and crepe hibiscus flowers. Enjoy! ~ Lia
