VIDEO: Felt Ball Bats
Just a Little Batty!
Spooky season is almost here, so we thought it fitting to give this month’s Craft Camp a Halloween theme with these felt ball bats. These little cuties are have just-enough-spook for a playful Halloween vibe. And, they are simple enough to make, just like these adorable little felt ball fox key chains, so that the little ones can join in for the crafting fun.

Non, non blocking pop up
I handed in my e-mail, then I got the download pop-up
Clicking on it opened a new window : https://liagriffith.com/video-felt-ball-bats/#comment-350870
I don’t understand what 🙁
Hello again, Lyli! Ok, I had our development person take a look and he thinks he might have made it so you can download now. Give it a try and let me know. 🙂
In fact it is impossible for me to download. Just in case, I did a search on my computer to see if the pdf had been saved, but nothing… too bad, thanks anyway
Is your computer blocking pop up windows? The file is opened in that way.
any tips or recommended settings for cutting your wool blend felt on the Cricut Maker? Love this project !!!
Yes! I use the “felt, wool fabric” setting. We have a setting chart that you can download here from this Skill Course. https://liagriffith.com/craft-academy/a-crafters-guide-to-the-cricut-maker/lessons/live-qa-pre-launch/
Thank you, Lia. I understand that preparing 2 tutorials (1x pdf, 1x video) requires more time (and time is money). But a pdf can be printed and filed, so we can do a project without starting the local PC and clicking the link to you tube; the you tube video itself can’t be saved on a local PC. A pdf tutorial would be a great help.
I will share this with the team for sure. 🙂
Hello Lia,
unfortunately it still doesn’t work for me.
I stopped the blocker, I checked on 2 other browsers, and even on another computer, and it still runs in a loop.
But maybe this download is only for subscribers?
If not, could you send me a direct link?
Thanks for your help
Have a nice day!
This is free for everyone and I am not sure what to say. Can you look in your download folder and see if it is there?
I like them.
By the way, pdf tutorial will follow? I miss them for several projects. When watching the videos, some steps are hidden by your/ the maker’s hand, which makes it difficult to follow the working process. It’s easier to follow the steps by watching a pdf tutorial.
Hey there! I hear ya. We usually only do the PDF tutorial when there is not a video, with the exception of the member make flowers. We can revisit this and see if these can be fit into our production schedule. 🙂
so nice: flying black “piggies” – I like them (and send a big smile)
Pig Bats! 🙂
I cannot wait to get the ordered supplies to make them! They are just way too cute.
You can make some spiders to match too! https://liagriffith.com/felt-ball-ghost-spiders/
Hello,
thank you for this tutorial, I’m going to love making these little bats for Halloween 🙂
But I can’t download the template… the link always reopens the page :https://liagriffith.com/video-felt-ball-bats/
But no template is downloadable 🙁
Thanks in advance for your help
I just checked and it seemed to work for me. For these zipped files, they might go straight to your download folder. I get a pop up window, but I think every browser is different. Also, you might have your browser set to block downloads. Check that folder and if you do not see it I can help you troubleshoot further.
Fabulous! I have a decorative twiggy tree they will be perfect to hang them from.
Love that!!
