I love the simplicity of Scandinavian design. Mixing geometric and modern designs with elements from nature makes our  Scandi star décor something that you can display all winter long. The natural tones of the kraft chipboard and the sage green paper pine stems also invite these little treasures into any color palette and décor theme.

For this project, we used the new Cricut Maker specifically to cut the chipboard star base. We then switched blades to cut the pine needles. Next, we used a hot glue gun to glue the paper greens to the base shape. The leftover diamond shapes can be glued to a cardstock star for an additional decoration.

These Scandi stars are so easy to assemble. Just watch the video below to see for yourself! Once you’re done making them, you can add a pretty ribbon to hang your northern stars to your window, door, or wall. How would you decorate your home with them?
