VIDEO: Heavy Crepe Paper Wild Rose (Starter Pattern)
Roses Gone Wild!
I love encouraging others to explore their creative side and learn a new skill. The easiest way to learn to make crepe paper flowers is to start with a simple flower. This heavy crepe wild rose is easy to craft, which makes it great for beginners. If you don’t have a lot of time to spend on DIY projects, you could just make one or two of these, but I will warn you that crepe paper flower crafting can be just a bit addictive!
For this wild rose, I used several different crepe paper colors from my English Garden Collection. Our new packs include this starter flower pattern so you can craft it right away. Or you can download the pattern below if you already have some heavy crepe paper you want to use for this flower.

i have small glass bubble string lights im going make flowers with and these are perfect!
i love using your extra fine crepe paper compared to the heavy and it would be amazing if you would get more colours for the extra fine. there is only one shade of yellow and its too strong a colour to make a delicate flower with. also please make blue shades! im using pan pastels to colour petals blue and though they are still pretty, it is very messy. making a blue rose is a personal goal of mine and to have proper coloured paper would be very much appreciated.
thank you so much for showing us how to make beautiful paper flowers.
Thank you for the feedback Tina! We hope to expand our color offerings sooner rather than later 🙂
