I love the simple look of the paper philodendron in a classic terra cotta pot, but the pot can also be easily personalized with some craft paint or spray paint!

Once you have finished your pretty paper plant, place your foam ball into your pot and use your preserved moss to cover the ball. The final step in making the paper philodendron is placing the floral wire pieces into the foam. Then, arrange the leaves randomly for a realistic look!

Don't stop at one! We have a full paper plant master class where Meagan will teach you all of the tips and tricks to creating paper plants from both cardstock and crepe paper.

Or, check out the other DIY plants in this series – including our paper fern, snake plant, and additional house plants – to create an entire collection of low-maintenance botanical decor that's perfect for gifts or home styling.
