Crepe Paper Apple Blossom Branch Video Workshop
Petals of Promise
Picture a branch in its earliest stages of waking up for spring. Slender, a little bare, and then dotted with soft blooms that hint at whatās to come. Thatās the inspiration behind our Crepe Paper Apple Blossom Branch Video Workshop. Despite its intricate look, our Crepe Paper Apple Blossom Branch is perfect for our beginners. And while that may suggest a simpler build, we recommend setting aside time to craft your branch thoughtfully. Youāll shape delicate crepe paper petals, build each blossom around a simple center, and attach them along a branching stem. The steps are straightforward, but with each bloom, we hope your confidence builds right along with your work.
Symbolically, apple blossoms represent renewal and the promise of whatās to come. Often appearing as one of the first signs of seasonal transition, they arrive just before fruit begins to form. Their fleeting bloom serves as a gentle reminder to pause and appreciate the moment while it lasts. However, recreating them in paper lets you hold onto that feeling of beauty for a little longer.
This Crepe Paper Apple Blossom Branch works beautifully as a standalone piece. Therefore, place it in a simple vase and let the blooms speak for themselves, or you can also pair it with other spring stems for a fuller arrangement. However you choose to style it, it certainly brings a sense of lightness to your space.
So, when you're ready for a project that feels both calming and rewarding, this Crepe Paper Apple Blossom Branch is a lovely one to try. Follow along with the video workshop and experience the joy of crafting along with us. When your branch is in bloom, share it with us in the craftersā community and on social using #MadeWithLia. Weād love to see your take on this early spring favorite.

Leave a CommentGood afternoon,
Can we not watch/print the photo tutorial afterwards? That’s after we’ve watched the live version?
Thank you!
As part of our community, you have full access to everything even after the live event. The “live only” is for guests. š
See you tomorrow!
Yes, the Cricut can add trouble. But it does save time. I love to hear that you are enjoying this “slow craft”. š
p.s. I will be in France in a few weeks to meet up with my daughter. I wish I could speak a little French.
Pour la decoupe des feuilles du pommier, grand modele et egalement les petites feuilles elles ne sont pas de la meme dimension ā normal?
Are you cutting them on your cutting machine? If so, it sometimes slightly changes the shape. For the PDF template, they should be the same on both sides. It is easy enough to trim the tips. š
I am out of ferns/moss do you have a suggestion on others colors to use?
Yes! You can make your own double-sided from Juniper and fusible web or use the Green Tea & Cypress. It will be beautiful with the lighter color.
Is there a substitute for the blue/green pan pastel?
We just ordered more! You can add it later if you like or you can use this one: https://feltpaperscissors.com/product/panpastel-artist-pastel-permanent-green-shade-640-3/
Thank you so much for doing these video workshops. They and the flowers Iām making from you site are such a much needed escape in my life right now. I know the peace the process gives me helps my health and general well being. Just the planning our what Iām going to make next is brings me contentment. Medicare should really be paying for my membership because it is a meaningful health benefit (:
Thank you for this message, Kathleen. I just read it to the team and it brought smiles to know we are making a difference in others lives. That is why we do this. š
How many branches are we using int the final bouquet?
Just the one. But you can make more. š
Probably not a big deal, but I noticed the green sepals for the blossoms and buds are labeled stamen on the PDF template. I’m looking forward to making this on Friday!
Oh dear! Too much juggling. I will fix that up.
I am unable to download the Cutting Machine file into Cricut. I didn’t have any trouble with the tulip or the poppy. I only get the blossoms, petals and leaves. Any ideas?
Thank you.
This is correct. I did not include the rectangle stamen piece since it is easier to cut by hand.
I just love these they are so perfect for any bouquet or just alone. I just love them. Thank you.
I do too! I have a blooming branch stem on my dining room table now. š
