Though we consider this Felt Red Panda a great intermediate craft, it's perfect for beginners looking to get more field time. However, you'll want to be familiar with basic embroidery stitches and stuffed animal construction, which will help bring your red panda to life and keep him upright. Of course, the right tools are also key to achieving those perfect details, and having the right materials on hand will ensure your panda looks as cute as the one pictured here!
From the stylish color blocking to the sweet little face, this Felt Red Panda is all about little details that make a big impact. Therefore, we highly recommend using the included PDF pattern to help guide your placement — trust us, it makes the detailing much easier, and you'll love how everything falls into place.
Neither panda nor fox, the red "panda" is actually a very distant cousin of the raccoon. Who knew? These adorable tree climbers are native to Asia's mountainous forests and are cherished as symbols of harmony and peace. Additionally, these little guys are seen as gentle protectors of the forests, and incorporating one into your crafting projects is fitting a tribute to this stunning creature.
Once your Felt Red Panda is all stitched up and adorable, find the perfect spot to show it off! Whether perched proudly on a bookshelf or in the hands of a tiny human, this sweet stuffie is ready for fun! We encourage you to take photos of your finished project and share them in our crafters' community. You can also tag us on Instagram using #MadeWithLia.

This is so timely. I just recently drew a Red Panda for a card I made my doc. Also I wanted to say thank you again for everything. I made the Valentine’s bears for our grand nieces in Arizona. Very pleased how they turned out.
Crafting with your designs makes my life fuller. And after recently spending 3+ weeks with my older brother in and out of the hospital 3 times and finally getting him moved to an Assisted Living facility it brings extra relaxation and joy to my life.
Thank you for sharing your story Alexandra. You have really touched my heart. I am going to share this with the team.
