Fall-Time Fun

What’s great about this project is its versatility. Use your painted mini pumpkins as an accent anywhere throughout your home — all the way up until you’re ready to switch your decor for Christmas. Then store them when the season’s through and bring them back next year, at which time you can repaint them in a new color palette if you want! The pumpkin fun-kin never stops!

If you want to style them on your mantel, some other fall decor ideas that would look pretty with these painted mini pumpkins are our paper feather candle wraps.  You could also scatter them on your dining table for Thanksgiving and use painted leaves as part of your table settings.

Ready to paint your pumpkins? Just gather the tools and materials below. Then follow our simple instructions. This is a fun craft activity to do with friends and family, so get everyone together and start painting!

Instructions

Tape off the area around the pumpkin to leave the stem exposed, and then paint the stem. When dry, paint the rest of the pumpkin the color of your choice. Mix and match!
