Have you ever wanted to make your own earrings and necklaces? We can show you how easy it is to create beautiful DIY jewelry. If you haven’t seen our jewelry projects before, here are a few of our favorites. Today we’ll show you how to make these crescent hoop earrings using polymer clay.

Polymer clay is perfect for DIY jewelry because it’s malleable and therefore really easy to shape. It’s also inexpensive and easy to find. Scroll down to see the tools and materials you’ll need to make your own polymer clay earrings.

Clay it Up

Whether you want to make your own jewelry, or you’re looking for polymer clay ideas, these earrings are a simple and fun DIY project. You can keep them for yourself or give them away as a gift! All you need for these polymer clay earrings are a few tools and materials. If you want to start making more DIY jewelry, wire cutters and pliers will become your two best friends.

Once you’ve gathered the tools and materials below, just follow our photo tutorial. You can also download and print the instructions (scroll down for the PDF). If you want to see an example of what polymer clay jewelry looks like, here’s a polymer clay necklace we made last summer.
