Poppies are such a pretty flower—and one of our favorites to make. Considering how popular our new crepe paper poppy flower kit has been, I think it’s safe to say we aren’t the only ones who enjoy crafting this flower! You can find our poppy kit in our online shop. Or if you’re outside of the US, it’s available on Amazon UK.
The kit includes five different crepe paper colors, floral wire and tape, foam balls for the centers, and the flower pattern. You will also find written instructions in the kit with a link to the video tutorial and SVG cut file for this poppy. We are sharing the video tutorial here as well if you want to get a glimpse into the flower-making process, so scroll on down to watch!
Pretty Paper Poppies
We have made quite a few crepe paper poppies over the years and have found that extra-fine crepe paper is perfect for creating the delicate, ruffled look of these blooms. In my video tutorial for our crepe paper poppy flower kit, I show you how to shape the petals to get this gorgeous texture. Just follow along as you craft your own poppies and let me know if you have any questions!
Altogether you can make six blooms and six buds with our crepe paper poppy flower kit. We typically like to include buds in our flower arrangements because it makes them look more realistic. You can also get creative with your kit and leave off the stems if you want to create a poppy flower wreath.
When you’re done crafting your flowers, we’d love to see them! Share them with us and the rest of the crafting community by posting pictures on your Instagram or Facebook and using the hashtag #MadeWithLia. You can also message me the pictures if you prefer that instead.
