@Danielle
Back to the TopSanielle,
While you can click on each download separately, or can click on the Download All link under the individual buttons, but regardless of which way you choose to download them (I think some people only want to download some aspects, i.e. they don’t need either the pdf or svg files, and they may have limited downloads from their internet provider, but they are ALL included once you choose that as one of your monthly downloads.
Lia hasn’t done ANYTHING dodgy here, I think you just got confused or didn’t read the instructions on the membership page.
I think it is great that you have the option to download all as a group (what I do) or download only what you need for a project (Which is what I would do if my internet downloads etc. were capped, i.e. I had to use my mobile internet etc.).
I am NOT affiliated with this website in ANYWAY.
I am just a member who has LOVED using this site for the last 6 months, since I found & joined it, who found your comment outright wrong & a bit aggressive.
(I hope it is OK that I am posting this, please don’t post &/or delete it, if I am in the wrong, or it shouldn’t be posted, but the above comment by Danielle really upset me, this website has been nothing but helpful & accommodating to me).
Thanks, Sharon. We do try to be very generous and make crafting accessible to everyone by keeping things VERY affordable. Even for the monthly fee, projects are less than $3 each. As far as the projects go, we have been designing them for 13 years now, and some of the older ones, like this, are presented differently than what we create now. This is more of a roundup, with each flower representing a project. And each project download includes the printable template, the cutting machine template, and the photo tutorial. All in one, not separately. When we see old projects that need updating, we try to jump in and get them up to our standards. 🙂 I am so pleased to hear you are feeling the joy of crafting.
I was so excited to sign up for a monthly membership, so that I could make a series of cute tropical felt flowers for my nursery. So, imagine my surprise when I go to use my 5 downloads for the month only to realize that most of these projects require 2 downloads per item… 1 for the actual pattern and 1 for the instructions. Luckily, I’m an artist and designer and don’t need the instructions. However, in the UX Design world we call things like this dark or deceptive patterns, where the user doesn’t realize that they need to jump through extra hoops/pay more money/upgrade/not get exactly what they thought they’d get until they’re already in the midst of buying/using a product. I shouldn’t have to say it, but it’s a completely unacceptable thing to do and a huge no-no in the industry, particularly if you’d like to retain your users. Shame on you. I’m cancelling my account immediately.
Hi Danielle– as a monthly member, you have access to 5 bonus projects which includes every download to make that project. The PDF template, SVG, instructions, photo tutorial are ONE download. This is all outlined very clearly on our membership page, and we are certainly not hiding anything.
