These Crepe Paper Garden Roses are a great beginner to intermediate-level craft. Still, we encourage all skill levels to give this lovely project a try. The intricate details may seem difficult, but our handy list of tools and materials will make it all come together beautifully. Due to these roses' fresh, organic look, you're welcome to cut your petals by hand. However, there are quite a lot of them. Therefore, we highly recommend a cutting machine for time's sake.Ā

Valentine's Day and roses go hand in hand ā so these Crepe Paper Garden Roses were the perfect choice for this month's collection. Symbolizing love, passion, and beauty, roses are the undisputed queens of the holiday. When designing this piece, we tried to include almost everything that makes roses so fascinating. Gently curling petals, realistic details, and soft, delicate hues make these Crepe Paper Garden Roses a sumptuous feast for the senses. The only thing missing is their sweet perfume. Maybe a bug or two!
With a few crafting tips and tricks, you'll soon have a batch of beautiful blooms rivaled only by the real deal. We chose our double-sided crepe paper in the dreamiest shades of peach, green, and cream for a soft, elegant feel. Then, we used our curling tool to gently shape the petals to mimic the natural curl of real roses. It's those tiniest details that result in a truly swoon-worthy piece.
Make these roses in whatever double sided crepe paper color you wish. You may even choose to make your own double sided using our extra fine crepe paper and fusible webbing. One of our roses is made using diy double side blush.

Hi Team Lia! My daughter’s mother-in-law has asked me to make a dozen of these roses in yellow crepe. The closest I see in felt paper scissors is the chiffon in the extra fine. Can you recommend a comparable brand in a more buttery yellow, similar in colour to the yellow in the frosted paper citrus pack? Thanks! Cheers,

Hello Kathryn! Two options. We have a yellow double-sided crepe paper that will be in our shop in the next few weeks. Second option: a yellow rose in the February collection, gorgeous and made with PanPastel. I will send you a photo as a preview. Check your email. š

I wanted to try working with crepe paper. I googled crepe paper flowers and picked your garden rose. I ordered your double sided packet and the additional supplies. I start the video and one of the first things you say is the pattern to cut out the flowers has changed and I can download the pattern below. I do not see the pattern download below. I go to your site and enter Garden Rose pattern and nothing comes up. Do I have to join to get the pattern? I have never tried this and do not want to commit to a new subscription. Is there a way to get the Garden Rose template without a membership?

I just double checked and it seems to be working. Here are the steps: Click the button to download. Find the zipped project folder in your downloads folder. Double click on the folder to unzip. Move the unzipped folder to your desktop of into your craft project folder. Open to find project files.

Your choice! Sometimes I even switch the direction inside one rose to give variety.

Hi. I was wondering, what is the blush extra fine crepe paper used for that is listed in the materials? I didn’t see it referenced in the pdf directions.
So sorry Krista, that was a mistype and you do not need extra fine blush for this flower. However, if you already purchased it this flower can be made with extra fine crepe and would be beautiful in blush!

The turorial says to cut a dip into only 4 medium petals but there are 6 medium petals. I can’t tell from the pictures if this is correct. so, my question is…do you cut a dip in the top of just 4 petals or all 6?

Heads up : template and directions call for 8 of the largest petals, but the .svg only has 7 when you upload it. Will need to duplicate one for full pattern. Otherwise, this rose is super easy to do and the result is awesome!!
