Maples are a fall staple
I am using these crepe paper maple leaves to decorate my fall table. However, you could also use them to create your own wreath, garland, framed art, and more. Another option is to keep the wire on the longer side and put a few leaf stems in a vase.
Ready to get started? Our video tutorial below will show you step by step how to assemble your crepe paper maple leaves so they look as natural as possible. You will also learn some other paper crafting techniques, such as wrapping stems with crepe paper for a clean, finished look, and how to add more detail with color.

These are gorgeous! When cutting with a Cricut should I still pre-stretch the crepe paper?
Yes! It is easier to cut when it is stretched and I also think it looks better.
Your maple leaves look so real and pretty, what a fantastic idea! Today I’ve featured your tutorial on Crafts on Display. I hope you enjoy it, and keep up the amazing work! https://craftsondisplay.com/paper-crafts/crepe-paper-maple-leaf-tutorial-130955/
Thanks, Violeta! This is a great beginner project too, for anyone who wants to try using crepe paper.
I’m having trouble downloading the SVG file into Design Space. When I select make it, I get a bunch of letters.
I just tested the file and it seems to work for me. Did you make sure to unzip it first?
Here is the video that shows the steps. Maybe there is something there that would help.

You can! Especially if you are looking at the leaves on both sides.

This is a fun project you can do in the fall for sure!
HELLO LIA
HOPE ALL IS WELL BUT I AM TRYING TO TRACK MY Order. I did purchased panpatel and the tings that would go long with the Maple leaf. Can someone please help with this order.
Thank you for your time
Pam Rodgers
Hi Pam! The last order we have for you is from Sept 17th. Does that sound right? Please email hello@liagriffith.com so we can help you further from there.
These leaves are really pretty! They remind me of Fall when I lived in Vermont. Thank you.
Enjoy!
Hi Lia,
Are you able to publish a new SVG without the leaf segments locked down?
Laura
