Crepe Paper Quince Branch Video Workshop
Quincessential Craft
Some branches are more than the blossoms that dance along their surface. Some, like the quince branch, tell their story through deep symbolism and historical significance. Our Crepe Paper Quince Branch video workshop draws from those rich elements, inviting you to recreate a little of nature’s magic.

While we’ve labeled our Crepe Paper Quince Branch as an advanced project, our video workshop makes it a bit more accessible if you're still working toward that level. Our guided workshop takes a look at building a full, dimensional branch from the ground up. Each bloom and leaf contributes to the overall flow, a task that can feel a bit daunting without a little help along the way.
Your chosen materials can make all the difference in achieving the most realistic results when making paper flowers. A combination of extra-fine, heavy, and double-sided crepe papers allows you to create variation in both texture and structure. Tools like a curling tool, ball stylus, and fringe clip help refine the petals and centers, while floral wire provides the strength needed to support the full branch.
Additionally, color contributes greatly to the depth and character of your Crepe Paper Quince Branch. Soft coral pinks paired with fresh greens give this branch a warm, early-spring feel, while subtle shading with markers enhances the dimension of each bloom. Because quince blossoms often appear in clusters, grouping your flowers thoughtfully will help capture that signature look.
As mentioned, quince trees have a special place in history and hold significant meaning in some cultures today. In ancient Greece, quince fruit was often associated with marriage and offered as a token of devotion, while its early blossoms signaled the quiet arrival of spring. This is the perfect project to honor spring and the simple pleasures that life sometimes passes our way.
When you're finished creating, display your Crepe Paper Quince Branch as a standalone statement or incorporate it into a larger display. However, we're excited to see where your creative direction leads, so remember to share with us in our crafters’ community and on social using #MadeWithLia. See you soon!

Please do!
Are we supposed to fuse together 2 sheets of the extra fine
camellia?
Thanks
Yes!
Hello! When looking at the photo tutorial, there are only 4 sepals in step 17. But there are 5 in step 16 and step 18. A little confusing for a visual learner like me.
Oh wow sorry about that, strange mistake I am always workshopping ideas to figure out what works best and take photos as I go. Must have gotten that one mixed up but we will get it fixed. Thank you for catching my mistake!
Good morning. I was getting ready to do some cutting on this. The materials list has Camilla extra fine (and espresso and chiffon). The template says to use coral/coral double sided for the petals. What is correct?
Camellia is correct, thank you for letting us know we have updated the template! 🙂
All the leaves in the SVG file face the same direction. The pdf file shows them opposite directions.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we have updated the SVG file for them to be facing the correct direction. Also note that we have updated the PDF with the correct petal color so be sure to re download that as well.
Thank you for all of the hard work from you and your team!
I noticed when I was pulling the pieces off the mat that the SVG file still has the leaves all facing the same direction. I know you are all busy so I will try again in a few days.
Hi Jamie, we updated the SVG. Try redownloading it!
Hi Lia, as always, your flowers continue to inspire me every month. Ever since I first signed up some years ago, I have been amazed at what you continue to come up with for us to make, and your flowers are so realistic. Thanks again for everything you and your team do for all of us.
Thank you, Lynne! Your words are such a sweet way to start May. Honestly, we are having so much fun over here, and I love hearing that you are too. 🙂
