Delightful Daffodils
Spring may be over, but that doesn't mean you can't still enjoy spring flowers! One of the best things about making paper flowers is that you can craft your favorite ones anytime, no matter if it's the right season for them or not. So if you want to bring some fresh spring vibes into your home, or bring a smile to someone's face, why not craft some daffodils? With our crepe paper daffodil flower kit, you can make 12 daffodils in mango, chiffon, and white.
You can find this daffodil kit in our online craft store. And if you live outside the US, you can find it on Amazon UK. We are sharing the video tutorial on the site today so you can see how simple it is to make this beautiful bouquet. Just scroll down to watch!
A prickly pear, Getting the the point
Beginner-intermediate. Stitches used: whip, ladder, straight stitch, and french knot. Also called a nopal or opuntia cactus - the fruit, flowers, and pads are all edible. We've made a few different varieties of cacti over the years, but this one is definitely the biggest! It has a wire structure and posts at the base, which you can then arrange into a pot with foam and covered with decorative stones. We made 3 cacti to arrange in a pot. The cactus pads are all lightly stuffed, then embroidered to create a slight tufted look. The fruits are embroidered and perched atop the cacti pads, and there's even a blooming flower.
