Have a Hellebore Holiday

If you’re looking for seasonal flowers to craft, these frosted paper Hellebore flowers are the perfect DIY project to make now and enjoy throughout winter. We also have a crepe paper Hellebores. Or you could try making our Christmas cactus or our pink poinsettias

For this project, I used frosted paper to give my Hellebore flowers a little bit of shine. I also used Copic Sketch markers and PanPastel pigments to add more detail and dimension to my flowers. My quick video tutorial below shows you how I color my frosted paper Hellebore as well as how I curl the petals for a more natural look.

To make your own Hellebore flowers, or Christmas Rose, gather the tools and materials below. Download the flower pattern at the end of this post, and then watch the video tutorial to see how it all comes together. If you have any questions, just ask!

When you’re done crafting, I’d love to see your version of my Hellebore flower. And I’m sure the rest of our crafting community would, too! Remember to use the hashtag #MadeWithLia when you post pictures on Instagram so we can see your DIY creations. Happy crafting! ~Lia and team
