We are so excited for this year’s virtual spring summit! Last year’s summit was so much fun that we decided to do another one this year. And we’re kicking it off with this crepe paper ranunculus workshop.
This workshop is free for annual members or with purchase of our spring summit kit. If you’re a member, you can download the flower pattern and watch the video tutorial over in our Craft Academy. If you’re not a member yet but purchased the spring summit kit, you can find the link to our updated ranunculus pattern and new video tutorial on the back of the flower kit package.
Ranunculously gorgeous
The ranunculus is a beautiful flower that requires some patience as there are a lot of petals in each flower! This particular ranunculus has a total of 92 petals per bloom, and I made 12 blooms altogether. You may want to use your Cricut Maker or Silhouette Cameo 4 for this reason. But you can certainly cut the petals by hand too.
Although the spring summit kit includes this flower pattern, I have updated the design for our crepe paper ranunculus workshop. And I will also be using a new technique to assemble this flower. Don’t forget to watch our pre-summit workshop for making all of the crepe paper greenery, which we’ll be using in the bouquet we make at the very end of the summit.

Watched your video. The ranunculus were beautiful. I’m trying to do one. The petals are hand cut and a little rugged, but hopefully the flower will look good for a first try.
Thanks for the class.
Are you using our extra-fine crepe paper? If you are not, you can stretch the heavy paper out just a bit to create a smoother finish. Either way, it will be 92-petal beautiful! 😉
Thank you for the class. I was not able to attend live, but I have watched the video. The flowers were beautiful. I’m working on one in vanilla. If it goes well I’ll do some more.

That is wonderful! Happy we have the replay for you.
