The clay snowflake  decorations are easy to make with air drying clay, a sturdy snowflake cookie cutter and a little glitter. Our yarn snowman decoration is a fun little project for those who like to make pom poms. There is a little fabric cutting and hot glue required for this project so those with really little hands will need some help. The origami star decoration is a great way to use leftover tissue paper during the holidays. We like to use tissue papers for this project. The light reflects from the paper in the most perfect way!

Our felt father christmas ornaments are possibly my favorite of our kids christmas tree ideas. These are simple to make using wooden peg dolls and a little red and white felt. Again, we used scissors and hot glue to make these, so the young ones will require a little assistance to assemble. The felt santa ornaments also make great free standing decorations if you didn’t want to hang them on a tree. Finally we have our cute little felt ball bunny ornaments. These are ideal for children that are beginning to learn some sewing skills. Ooh, I must not forget the pretty paper snowflake decoration on the top of the tree! This is surprisingly simple to make, find our tutorial here.

Finish your kids christmas tree with a string of lights and a couple small gifts underneath and your little ones will be proud as punch with their achievement!
