Hoppy Easter!

Easter can be such a fun holiday for kids, whether there is an exciting Easter egg hunt or a colorful Easter basket to explore. If you are hosting a holiday celebration in your home, here is some inspiration for setting up a wonderfully inviting Kid’s Easter Table for your little ones.

Fun & Games

The best way to enjoy the occasion is to keep the kids occupied and entertained. With this in mind, we came up with an explosion of bright and vibrant hues for the table setting, plus some fun activities. We started with orange as our main color for the table, and then added in greens and blues as nice complements. Because it’s a kid’s table, you will certainly want to have a tablecloth of some kind. We made a super simple no sew tablecloth by picking out the orange polka dot fabric from our local fabric store and cutting the edges with pinking shears.

Coloring is a classic activity for kids to do at the table, so we designed these printable coloring placemats specifically with bunnies and Easter eggs. For an extra touch we designed those carrot cozies to go with crayon cups. Kid’s know that holidays can often mean indulging in treats, so we created two different treat boxes for the Kid’s Easter Table: bunny treat boxes and carrot treat cones

We took every opportunity we could to make the table as playful as possible. This meant adding bunny ears drink toppers to the glasses and setting out adorable bunny party hats for the kids to wear during the meal. In the center of the table, we styled a DIY Easter basket filled with colorful surprises like painted wooden eggs (which you are also welcome to fill with candy) and a heart-melting pom pom Easter bunny.
