Giant Paper Bouquets for Cricut — Rocky Mountains

Up next in our jumbo paper flower series for Cricut is our Rocky Mountain floral bouquet. This bouquet is particularly stunning with our crepe paper iris flowers, felt peonies, parrot tulips, metallic paper cosmos, papercut freesia and gold paper chrysanthemums. Many of the flowers in this bouquet are cut from crepe paper. With the all-new Cricut Maker cutting machine, cutting crepe paper is finally a possibility! Are these regular sized Iris or have they been sized up from the pattern? These look bigger than normal.

  This arrangement was extra large for the Cricut event. The flowers we recommend are life-sized rather than jumbo.

Hi Lia,
I just became a new member today, YAY! I just love this gorgeous flower bouquet! I do not own the Cricut Maker and was wondering if I can use my Silhouette 4 for this project?

  Hello Athena, and welcome! This is an older project for us, but you can use the SVGs with Silhouette. We have a great class taught by Kelly on how to use the Silhouette with our files.   Thanks! I didn’t count the final product but planned to make this with 6-8 crepe paper parrot tulips, 5-6 crepe paper iris, 6-8 paper cosmos, 3-6 felt peonies, 6-8 paper mums, 5-7 freesia.

Oh yay! I’m so excited! Thank you for making the Rocky Mountain one! Definitely the first set I’ll be making! I don’t have that bluish purple color yet, and I’ll be looking forward to the video! Thank you SO MUCH! These are stunning!

I watched your video on parrot tulips…but was not sure what machine you used
To cut out the leaves that otherwise would of been labor intensive to of cut out by hand…can you give us more details on what the machine was. Love everything you make.

  Hi! We actually did cut those out by hand when the video was filmed 🙂 Since then, Cricut has come out with an awesome brand new machine (the Maker) that we were able to use for this entire bouquet.

btw–did you use a cone in the vase to build the bouquet? I saw that done recently and had an epiphany!!!
