Are these regular sized Iris or have they been sized up from the pattern? These look bigger than normal.
Thanks
This arrangement was extra large for the Cricut event. The flowers we recommend are life-sized rather than jumbo.
Hi Lia,
I just became a new member today, YAY! I just love this gorgeous flower bouquet! I do not own the Cricut Maker and was wondering if I can use my Silhouette 4 for this project?
Hello Athena, and welcome! This is an older project for us, but you can use the SVGs with Silhouette. We have a great class taught by Kelly on how to use the Silhouette with our files. You can find this class in our Craft Academy. Here is a link to that. https://liagriffith.com/craft-academy/a-crafters-guide-to-the-silhouette-cameo/
Omg! Wow!
Hi Lia, I am making this gorgeous bouquet and am super excited. I can’t find the color crepe paper you used for the Iris flowers. Can you please tell me what paper that is. Thank you!
Yes! It’s Lilac from our Secret Garden collection: https://liagriffith.com/product/extra-fine-crepe-paper-secret-garden-collection/
can’t find template for iris
The link is in the postβ we just used a different color crepe for this arrangement (Lilac from the Secret Garden 10-pack).
Looking at making my own centerpieces for my wedding and this looks beautiful. How many pieces are in this particular arrangement?
Thanks! I didn’t count the final product but planned to make this with 6-8 crepe paper parrot tulips, 5-6 crepe paper iris, 6-8 paper cosmos, 3-6 felt peonies, 6-8 paper mums, 5-7 freesia.
Such a beautiful bouquet! Will you be releasing a svg for the parrot tulips?
Yes, it’s available on the Parrot Tulip post π
Oh yay! I’m so excited! Thank you for making the Rocky Mountain one! Definitely the first set I’ll be making! I don’t have that bluish purple color yet, and I’ll be looking forward to the video! Thank you SO MUCH! These are stunning!
Hugs,
Elise
Yay, so glad you’re excited about this one π
I watched your video on parrot tulips…but was not sure what machine you used
To cut out the leaves that otherwise would of been labor intensive to of cut out by hand…can you give us more details on what the machine was. Love everything you make.
Hi! We actually did cut those out by hand when the video was filmed π Since then, Cricut has come out with an awesome brand new machine (the Maker) that we were able to use for this entire bouquet.
This is so beautiful, I love it and will try to make…
Thank you!
Hi Lia–
OMG–that’s fantastic. Each one is prettier than the last!!
btw–did you use a cone in the vase to build the bouquet? I saw that done recently and had an epiphany!!!
Who knew?!
xoxo
Susan
Thank you Susan!! We actually filled the vase with foam π But the cone is a great idea.
Tiffanie Turner used one for an arrangement that she did and I think it’s brilliant!!! It’s on her IG feed.
