I’m so excited to share my Thanksgiving centerpiece with you today! Last year I made a paper flower and fresh greenery centerpiece that works for any holiday. So this year I wanted to bring in more of a harvest theme for Thanksgiving.
You can find all of the craft projects I used for this Thanksgiving centerpiece listed below. Then just watch the video tutorial to learn how to create your own holiday arrangement!

To bring in the harvest theme for this Thanksgiving centerpiece, I decided to add our crepe paper artichokes, figs, acorns, and wheat. You will see in the video how I used floral wire to stick some of these crafts into the arrangement. You can make the same craft projects for your centerpiece or browse our crepe paper fruit for more ideas.
If you haven’t created a floral arrangement before, one important thing to consider is the focal point. For this Thanksgiving centerpiece, I decided the focal flower should be our crepe paper dahlias (from our October Member Make). These flowers are so exquisite and such a gorgeous deep burgundy color that they really stand out. I would say that the crepe paper artichokes are also a focal point but a more subtle one.
Next, I have our crepe paper ranunculus as the secondary flower. And as accents or fillers, I have the paper wheat, bunny tails, acorns, figs, olive branches, spider mums, and eucalyptus branches. You will see in the video below how I work these all into the arrangement to create a certain shape and flow for my Thanksgiving centerpiece.

The Olive Branch files are not included in either download, is this as intended?
You can find the list of stems that I used in this arrangement with the links to each project.
The link to Frosted Paper Olive Branch Stems is wrong. Should it be to Paper Olive Tree?
The link is correct. I used the silver stem that is on the chandelier. You can use anything you like in this arrangement. 🙂
Are all items in the arrangement included in the download?
They are, but note that the tutorials for each are not included.
Where did you get the basket
This was posted a few years ago so it is possible I found it at Target or Michaels.
How many ancons did you use
I believe I used 6.
This is so beautiful. I would love it if you could make more centerpiece tutorials!
Arrangement master class is coming up!
Do you have any ideas on what crepe paper flowers/plants I could make to make a dried flower bouquet arrangement?
It really depends on what style you are looking for, but honestly, I feel all of the crepe paper flowers would mix well with dried.
Can you please list how exactly how many of each flower and leaves you used.
Yes, I added it to the post after each item. Hope that helps. 🙂
I am going to attempt this large bouquet. It looks so beautiful. I was wondering about the benefits of using foam over chicken wire in this arrangement. I don’t have foam on hand, but would go purchase if you think it would work better than using a chicken wire frame. I have only made bouquets from the master classes. This will be my first outside of a class attempt.
You can do this! I personally prefer chicken wire for large bouquets. It is also easier to fit unusually shaped containers. Share photos when you are done. 🙂
Thanks! The ranunculus looked a bit paler than the coral in the photos so wasn’t sure if y’all went pure blush on those.
Oh gotcha! Sometimes the lighting can make the colors look a bit different. I believe we used both blush and coral for the ranunculus flowers in that arrangement. You could use both or just one of the colors!
What color paper did you use for the spider mums and ranunculus?
All of the flowers are linked up above in the post with all the details!
What size container would you say that is that you used?
That one is about 5×12 inches.
