GET READY: Arrangement Lists

GET READY: Arrangement Lists

You can download the additional PDF checklist below. This list includes the materials you will need for each arrangement. We will be using wire cutters in each lesson.

A FEW THINGS TO NOTE:

  1. As the intro video states, you must only complete three designs for your Master Class certificate. This can include the arrangements from the Design 1 lesson.
  2. Though you are welcome to vary the flower colors, I will use color theory in each design lesson to outline the color choices or each arrangement in all demos.
  3. This list links to the exact version of the flowers and foliage used in the designs.
  4. I have included vase sizes in this list to help you select your vessels.

    Designs 11 and 12 list “burgundy smoke bush stems (coming soon),” but I haven’t seen anything about them on the website. Are they still coming soon? 🙂

      Yes! Just a few weeks. You can use the one we did in the master class and change the color if you are wanting to make that arrangement.

    When you say two stems of plumeria, is that 1 flower and 1 bud for each stem?

      @Charlene

      No, they have multiple flowers per stem. Mine have 3 flowers and two buds.

    Can I just check for Arrangement 2, does 3 small duchess peonies, mean the buds from the duchess peony member make?

    On Design 6 that uses all the flowers from the July collection, it lists 6 wild poppies. From the photo it looks like maybe 6 of each color (nectarine and chiffon)? I can count at least 9-10 total wild poppies in the arrangement. I’m so excited for this class!

      Hi Nancy! Yes, the arrangement has both Gingko and Salal, which are both listed. It might be confusing that I put the photo UNDER the list so you might be reading arrangement #3.

    I am so excited about this class. I have so many flowers patiently waiting for an arrangement to join. I am especially excited about the Airy & Organic Bouquet. I have cut out the eucalyptus waiting on the class this Friday. But we do not have branches available in my area similar to the ones in the arrangement. Is there a source for purchasing something like this?

      Since all branches are unique, it is tricky to find a matching one, but I did find these on Amazon as a good option: https://amzn.to/3Y02fpJ

      Only the rotary blade for all crepe paper. We have a lesson on cutting crepe here in this skill course. Also have a chart that you can download with the settings. 🙂 https://liagriffith.com/craft-academy/a-crafters-guide-to-the-cricut-maker/

      It will not be until this fall, but in the meantime, you can use the double pack with the green tea and cypress. https://feltpaperscissors.com/product/double-sided-green-tea-cypress-with-ferns-moss/

    These are all GORGEOUS! I am trying to download the tropical leaves for the Design 5 but it opens the ginger flowers. I am only downloading the ones that I don’t have before i decide which want i want to do. I love the Triangle Tropical display but I’m a little scared.

    Beautiful arrangements…cant make up my mind which to start with! Are some of these arrangements a combination of crepe paper and real leaves for foliage?

      There are only two where I used real foilage. The spring bridal bouquet and the tropical arrangement. You can infuse real into yours if you prefer.

    Hi Lia! I will be doing all of these arrangements but wanted to point out that under Design 12- Corsage and boutonniere, the link for the lisianthus bud takes you to the double-sided coral charm peonies. Thank you for all the hard work in putting this class together.

            I love how you find the right vase that matches the colors, theme of the flowers. Often times, I spend hours trying to find the perfect vase, with right size opening for an arrangement.

            It is a bit tricky! Our studio is now filled with vases to pick from since I am always looking when I am out and about.

    Hi Lia – Design 8 – the link to the Green Hydrangea clusters, just links to the frosted paper master class… Is there any chance of a link to the pattern? I don’t want to wait for that class to roll around before I can make this design 🙂 – Otherwise, can you suggest another flower to replace it with by chance?

      You can use this template but use the green frosted paper. https://liagriffith.com/video-tutorial-frosted-paper-hydrangeas/

    I am getting ready to do one arrangement in the first batch, the hibiscus arrangement. I made my flower, however I have a couple of questions on the leaves. Do I attach my 2 hibiscus leaves onto the flower stem? Which size should I make the salal leaves, the large or small and should I keep them separated or attach them onto a stem? Thank you so much. Cannot wait for this class to begin! That was a huge amount of work for you!

      @Shirl

      You can hang onto your leaves for now. The arrangement is about how they are framing the flower itself. I think after the video you will feel confident on how to place them. 🙂
